Young and Dynamic, Emerging  BC Christian Minority Woman Leader Smt Rajalatha Busi @ Latha Joel was elected as a Corporator for Guntur Municipal Corporation with a whopping majority of 3041 votes in 2021 Municipal Corporation Elections. It is the second highest majority in Guntur West and 3rd in Guntur. She is the only Christian Minority Leader Elected in our State Andhra Pradesh.

Completed her Master's in Education, Teacher by profession, very good Orator and a Social Worker by passion. She is a stern follower of Dr. YSR and his vision which empowered the lives of poor especially women in the State. Later, in the year 2013 she joined YSR Congress Party which was launched by his son Shri YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Garu to carry the legacy of Dr YSR. With a burning desire to work for the welfare of the society under the leadership and the blessings of the Honourable Chief Minister Shri YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Garu, she was given a chance to contest for YSRCP in the Guntur Municipal Corporation Elections, 2021 under BC Women Category. With the blessings of the local cadre and the massive support of the residents/locals of 34th Division, she was elected as a Corporator with an outstanding majority and emerged as a New Young & Dynamic BC Leader.

She is striving for the development of the division and is being partnered in various welfare schemes launched by the Honourable Chief Minister which were promised in the Election Manifesto 2019. Committed to work for the well being of the society and to carry the vision and works of the Leader Shri YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. 

She is always grateful for the Party Cadre, Leaders, the people for giving her an opportunity to serve and work under the leadership of Jagan Anna.
